Visa application forms for the US, UK, Japan, Australia, and most other countries require your current Korean address in English. An error here can delay or invalidate your application—so it's worth getting it right.

The Basic Rule

Always use the road address (도로명주소) in English, not the older lot number format. If the consulate requires proof of address, a Certificate of Residence (주민등록등본) from your local community center (주민센터) is the standard document.

Finding Your English Address

Search by road name, building name, or lot number on this service to get the official English address. Copy it directly into your visa application. For official verification, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety road address portal (www.juso.go.kr) also provides address lookups.
